New release - PASSION STRUCK

The Incredible Power of Being Resilient

We will inevitably face adversity and hardships in our lives. This could be something small, such as not making a sports team, a significant setback, such as not paying our bills, or a traumatic event such as being in a car accident. It is overcoming this adversity that unlocks the incredible power of being resilient.

Research indicates that while some people can overcome terrible obstacles and flourish, others simply cannot and may even struggle to get out of bed. It is those who achieve success in life that can navigate roadblocks that may stop others completely. As Walt Disney once said, “All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me… You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.”

In this episode of the Passion Struck podcast, John R. Miles breaks down how our lives are a continuous sequence of small and large obstacles. As soon as one event is under control, another one hits you. It is how you deal with those events that bring some people success and others despair. It is inevitable that no matter how smart or careful you may be, life throws challenges, trauma, difficulties, and other situations our way. It is how you react to them that defines you.

And in case you didn’t already know it, John R. Miles (@john_r_miles) takes your requests for topics on Momentum Friday right here every week!
